In the first shooting of the weekend, a 37-year-old woman was shot in the head Friday night, in the 6900 block of South Lafayette Avenue.
Around 1:41 a.m., the victim was a passenger in the vehicle, in the 100 block of West 127th Street, when an occupant in a grey sedan fired shots. Less than a half hour later, a 3-year-old and a 52-year-old man were shot, in the 5400 block of South Damen Avenue around 2 a.m.
