He also explained that he has figured out a way to tell if you're going to get killed in the finale or not: looking at how many stories you've been getting, with the logic being that lots of appearances is a precursor to an emotional ending. "Typically when you get to the last two, three episodes, if your storyline is lighter, you're kind of happier about it because it means they're not really focusing on the character. So hopefully they're not gonna kill you off."
