Several family members go to Antakya on the weekend to visit the city and his brother was there with his wife and kids when the first earthquake hit. “We found out that 50 of them were dead, we didn’t know yet about the others,” he said. “We didn’t know if they were also alive or not. The vigil took place at the Turkish American Society of Chicago in Mount Prospect.
