Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness has insisted Chelsea are taking a “huge risk” by handing the likes of Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson nine-year contracts., the 66-year-old – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – claimed “injuries and other issues” could mean the Blues don’t get any value from selling the pair in the future.
