Malo Gusto would have been Chelsea's seventh arrival in the January transfer window CFC

Gusto is a rising star in Ligue 1, having already made 54 appearances for Lyon as well as featuring seven times for the France under-21 side. A move to Chelsea would see him provide competition and back-up to Reece James, who has struggled with injuries in recent months. Should he sign, he would be the Blues’ seventh arrival in the January transfer window, with the club looking to get more business done before next week’s deadline.
