Chef Siba Mtongana’s restaurant, Siba, received the prestigious title of Africa’s Best Fine-Dining Hotel Restaurant at the World Culinary Awards 2024 held in Dubai on Wednesday
,‘Thank you so much to my family for their love and support, and to the global panel of judges and the World Culinary Awards for this incredible honour,’ expressed Mtongana.The World Culinary Awards celebrate excellence in the culinary field, recognising top talents and establishments.: Cheese-stuffed boerewors balls accompanied by a creamy bisto-inspired sauce and prawn shisanyama.
Additionally, her career has garnered attention from Harvard Business School, which featured her in a case study alongside culinary icon Nigella Lawson, making her one of only two chefs worldwide included in such a study.
