The design and location of the outdoor rink make it an envy of communities across Nova Scotia and, surely, for all those municipalities across Canada aware of what it does for Truro and area.
And that’s another positive of the surface; it welcomes everyone from seasoned to beginner skaters. And for those starting out, just give them a few visits and the joy of the activity will have them whirling around the rink like the next Connor McDavid or Keegan Messing.to having to say goodbye to a talented multimedia reporter who is also an exceptional co-worker and friend, Chelsey Gould.
And while it’s a ‘jeer’ in that we’re going to miss both her work and company, we are cheering the fact she has found a job that incorporates more of her far-reaching skillset and plays on her passions for history and engaging with like-minded visitors.
