You can now have everything from paint to milk delivered thanks to Checkers Hyper's integration into Sixty60.
At R35 for grocery deliveries and free Checkers Hyper deliveries, this could shake up the local ecommerce market dramatically.The update also serves as a way for Checkers to refresh the user interface of the app. The changes are small likely because too many big changes at once could risk users moving elsewhere. Things such as the font and the overall layout have been updated and give the app a cleaner appearance.
We’re not fans of the new Discover menu which replaces the old Search menu. While it is easier to drill down into categories, the side scroll makes it tougher to see all categories at a glance. We’ll probably get used to it as we use the app more often. While the range of products available from Checkers Hyper will differ based on region, our store is rather well appointed. As mentioned there are consoles available, TVs, wearables, PC and console peripherals and even a Logitech racing wheel for Xbox.
Granted, Takealot has Takealot Now as part of the Mr D app but in our experience, the product spread is limited to items that can fit inside of a motorbike top box.
