The AfriWatch 1 has a seven-day battery life, monitors your heart rate, and tracks 12 different activities. The AfriWatch 1 has a seven-day battery life, monitors your heart rate, and tracks 12 different activities.

The wearable looks well-appointed but is priced in the same region as wearables from Samsung and Huawei.

Sowetan-based health and fitness brand Khoi Tech will be showcasing its flagship product at the Rand Show 2024 taking place at the Johannesburg Expo Centre at Nasrec in Johannesburg from today until 1st April.. The wearable features a 1.65 inch touch display along with a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen monitoring and of course activity tracking.

Powering things along is a 170mAh lithium polymer battery and Khoi Tech reckons you can recharge the Afriwatch1 fully in around two hours after using it for a week. The wearable makes use of the Zeroner Health app and is compatible with both iOS and Android., you may want to get a look at the wearable for yourself before clicking buy and that’s exactly what you can do this weekend.

While this watch does look good, its price puts it squarely in competition with the likes of Samsung and Huawei. You’re likely to find something a bit more feature rich than the AfriWatch 1 with a bit of shopping.
