File photo.The City of Charlottetown is celebrating its 167th birthday with a slew of family-friendly events for Natal Day weekend from July 29-31.will take place at Confederation Landing at 2 p.m. on July 29, the city said in a release.The event will continue on July 30, from 5-8 p.m., and again on July 31 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.

Events on July 30 start at 8:30 a.m. with a pancake breakfast that will run until 10 a.m., with entertainment by Adam MacGregor and The Foes.Outer Limits Sports will host a skateboard, BMX and scooter competition at Victoria Park skateboard park on July 30 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., with registration starting at 9:30 a.m.Charlottetown’s older adults can head to a social at Jack Blanchard Hall from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
