Daredevil star Charlie Cox has joined Zooey Deschanel in the Amazon MGM Studios romantic comedy Merv about a depressed dog.
Chris Redd , Patricia Heaton , David Hunt , Ellyn Jameson , Wynn Everett , Jasmine Mathews , and Joey Slotnick .Merv, which is written by Linsey Stewart and Dane Clark, centers on an estranged couple. The couple learns that the dog they share is suffering from depression after their breakup. So, they awkwardly reconcile and take their dog to a sunny vacation in Florida with the hopes that it will lift his spirits.
Cox is well-known for playing Matt Murdock/Daredevil, which he’ll soon soon reprise for the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. He also briefly cameoed in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
