King Charles unveils plaque in honour of late Queen day before Meghan and Harry's doc
King Charles has officially unveiled a plaque in honour of his late mother the Queen, just hours ahead of the second instalment of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’ s controversial Netflix documentary being released.
In the spot where she had come to rest prior to her funeral, a bronze plaque engraved with her royal cypher and a cross read: “Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the second lay in state here. From the fourteen of September until her burial at Windsor on the nineteenth of September two thousand and twenty-two.”
The pre-planned visit was no doubt emotional for the King as he continues to mourn for his late mother, but it was also a clear show of strength and business as usual, as he failed to be weighed down by any further damaging claims to the royal family made by his son Prince Harry.
