Eight months on since first assuming the throne, the big day is finally here for King Charles and Queen Camilla to make history as they'll be formally crowned at Westminster Abbey
The special ceremony, which takes place at Westminster Abbey, will officially see the new monarch formally crowed the king, eight months on since his accession to the throne following the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth last September.
Making the most of the hype and grandeur of the occasion, several eager fans have even been taking photos at a number of attractive installations that have been set up around the capital, with a throne, crown, and plenty of flowers providing the perfect backdrop to take a commemorative selfie. With around twelve hours left to go until the Coronation procession officially begins, the final arrangements have been put in place to make sure the event goes seamlessly.
One last minute confirmation that will no doubt please royal fans, is Prince Harry, who has put aside his differences with his father in recent months to attend the ceremony, despite it being his young son Archie’s 4th birthday!
