Fans react to King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla on the throne
Royal fans have given their reactions to King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla taking their places in thrones at Westminster Hall for the first time yesterday, Monday 12 September.
The chairs reserved for the royals were positioned at the head of the chamber as they arrived at Westminster to the band of the Household Cavalry played sombre music in waiting of the pair.Fans have taken to social media giving varied responses to the change in seeing King Charles and Camilla on the thrones.
“All good wishes to him and Queen Camilla. Saw up close, their hard work & gruelling schedule in Cashel earlier this year. Health and good wishes to both!" Speaking to those at Westminster Hall, Charles confessed he has felt "the weight of history" in the days since his mother Queen Elizabeth II passed.
