Criminal charges have been dismissed against the man who was arrested for throwing a brick through the windshield of a SFD ambulance in August.
Dale Cieslinski, 60, appears in court on Aug. 2, 2023. He was arrested Aug. 1 after witnesses reported he threw a brick through the windshield of an ambulance responding to an emergency on N. 45th Street in the Wallingford neighborhood. Prosecutors said their hands were tied because the state's mental health hospital did not admit Dale Cieslinski, 60, for treatment after he was found incompetent to stand trial.

Cieslinki was released from jail in September when his defense attorney filed a motion saying a delay in treatment would violate his due process.
