The York County Board of Elections agreed to front more resources to Spanish-speaking voters for Tuesday's general election.

The York County Board of Elections has agreed to terms that go above and beyond satisfying the initial demands brought two weeks ago by CASA, a Latino advocacy group in a federal lawsuit.claiming Spanish-speakers who are eligible to vote did not have the adequate means to effectively vote in York County because the county only provided election materials in English. Residents born in Puerto Rico, for example, may not have learned to speak English in school but are U.S. citizens.
