Devin Heroux, a Canadian presenter and reporter, was part of the crowd at Celtic Park on Wednesday which saw the Hoops defeat Dundee in an impressive 7-1 performance.
A Canadian TV presenter attending Celtic's match with Dundee this week said it was "one of the best sporting atmospheres I've ever experienced".
Celtic beat Dundee 7-1 on Wednesday , relieving some of the growing pressure on Brendan Rodgers. The Parkhead crowd met an impressive performance with a roaring response. Devin Heroux, a Canadian presenter and reporter who was in town to cover the World Indoor Championships at Glasgow's Commonwealth Arena, was one of the ecstatic crowd. With obvious Canadian interest in Hoops defender Alistair Johnston, he headed to Parkhead during his downtime, and had the night of his life, the Daily Record reports.
Posting a selfie of himself in the East Stand during the game, he tweeted: "That was one of the best sporting atmospheres I've ever experienced. It's a 7-1 victory for Celtic over Dundee and the locals are going home happy. 60,000 fans. They have 48,000 season ticket holders. Remarkable. Unforgettable experience at Celtic Park."
Heroux presents That Curling Show among other winter sports' coverage for CBS and Radio Canada. While in Scotland, he also had his first taste of Irn Bru, which he described as nice and 'flavourful' although he said he regretted it at 7.30pm.He saw his X followers surge to more than 76,000 after the tweet about Celtic and wrote in the hours after: "Hello to all the new followers here after I posted about last night's football match at Celtic Park.
