Football Insider has been told by Alan Hutton that he can't believe Celtic are willing to let Rocco Vata leave on a permanent basis this summer.
Celtic B team star Rocco Vata doesn’t have a future at the Scottish club., former Rangers defender Alan Hutton suggested the club hierarchy don’t see Vata in the future plans of the club if they are willing to sell him permanently.
The 18-year-old has entered the final year of his contract with the Glasgow giants and was starting to break into the first team last term under Ange Postecoglou and made four senior appearances., it is increasingly likely that Vata will leave on a permanent transfer this summer. The club are believed to have no plans to send the youngster out on loan for the current campaign nor offer him a contract extension.
Hutton thought it was strange to hear of Vata potentially moving on from the club after last season’s impressive performances.I thought he was highly rated within the football club unless the manager has come in and seen something different,”
