Liam Kelly is believed to be on Brendan Rodgers' radar for a summer move
Stuart Kettlewell insists he’s in the dark over a Celtic move in Liam Kelly – but wouldn’t be surprised if the Motherwell keeper attracted interest.
Kettlewell says he’s unaware of interest from Parkhead, wants to keep Kelly at Fir Park, but understands he might not be able to, especially if the keeper is involved with Scotland at Euro 2024. “What wouldn’t surprise me is a goalkeeper of his stature and standing, attracting interest, but Liam would be somebody that I would love to keep at the club.
“I’m the type of person that as soon as I have an opportunity to speak to a player, to give an exact outcome of a situation, I tend to jump out of my seat and make sure it happens. He said: “People are at different stages of their carer and sometimes money can be a thing – you’re trying to support families and get as much out of the game as you possibly can, not just on the pitch, but financially.
“But all I can keep saying is that not only can I offer Liam that , he’s lived that for well over a year now, with myself, the rest of the group and the club – and before that as well.
