Football Insider has been told by Frank McAvennie that 'it doesn't make sense' for Celtic to buy players for '£20million' - agreeing with new manager Brendan Rodgers.

“But it’s few and far between, and that’s just the way Celtic work now. They get the players in at a decent price, hopefully they do well – and they’re sold on. “The TV money is not enough, so they’ve got to find other ways to compete. I think Scottish football deserves a bigger platform than that.”
