The highest price hike on one contract is 19% but the average increases have been kept around the 5% Consumer Price Index (CPI).
Cell C is increasing the prices of many of its current and legacy contract packages from 1 December 2023 while introducing more data-focused plans.
“Our goal is to keep our pricing as low as possible, and the overall average weighted adjustment of 5% aligns with the Consumer Price Index ,” Forbes said. A handful of Cell contracts will not be getting any price hikes. However, the majority will see their prices increase by between 1% and 19%.
