On Wednesday, Hollywood was made an MBE for services to baking and broadcasting.
Celebrity baker and TV presenter Paul Hollywood has said he would like to see Prince Anne on The Great British Bake Off, as he was made an MBE at Windsor Castle.
Celebrity baker Paul Hollywood is made a Member of the Order of the British Empire by the Princess Royal at Windsor Castle “I met her a few years ago at Buckingham Palace when the Duke of Edinburgh wasn’t very well. We were all with members of the royal family and I just happened to be there with Princess Anne. So to see her again today was fantastic.
“I think she’s particularly fond of Chelsea buns. I promised her some, so I put myself on the spot there.” Bake Off made Hollywood a household name and he moved with the show when it switched from the BBC to Channel 4 in 2016.
