He says security agencies will ensure that local government elections are conducted in a safe and secure environment to ensure a free and fair vote."Being here was not on the initial plan. Looking at things around the country we realised that something is coming up. We had to come and assure people that police and security agencies will be working with the community there.
"Police have increased, we have an understanding of the province. This is one of the problematic areas, hotspots voting stations have moved up from 9 to 15 we are responding accordingly with all those things. We are confident ourselves that the situation is in order we expect nothing, if something happens we are able and capable to respond."
