The Met says emergency workers and a member of the public were assaulted

Officers have released CCTV images of four 'wanted' men after emergency workers and a member of the public were assaulted on the day of the Euro 2020 final. England lost on penalties to Italy in the final of the men's football tournament at Wembley Stadium, in London, on July 11 last year.

The Met says three of the men pictured are wanted in connection with assaults on emergency workers at Wembley Stadium, while the fourth is in connection with an assault of someone at Trafalgar Square. Anyone who recognises those in the pictures is urged to come forward. In a statement released this morning , a spokesperson for the Met said: "Officers investigating disorder connected to the Euro 2020 final at Wembley are releasing images of four men they would like to identify. Three of the men are wanted in connection with assaults on emergency workers at Wembley Stadium on July 11, 2021.
