The owner of a popular restaurant in Carrickfergus has thanked emergency services and the local community for their support after a kitchen fire.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service, PSNI and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service attended the scene of the blaze at The Windrose Bar and Bistro just after 12pm on Sunday, September 25.
As well as offering help in getting the restaurant back to normal, the local community has rallied around the much-loved venue, with many people commenting on Facebook that they're hoping to get booked in for dinner this weekend. "It was the two downstairs kitchens, the main kitchen and the prep kitchen. They both suffered quite a bit of damage.
