Beloved BBC Breakfast weather icon Carol Kirkwood has sweetly spilled the beans on how her husband, Steve Randall , makes every morning just a bit brighter for her.
She giggled as she told the nation, "The weather was glorious, we were sitting chatting... he was fumbling in his pocket and then out came a ring, I thought he was joking actually, I didn't believe him to start with." Carol's journey down the aisle this time around follows her previous marriage to property mogul Jimmy Kirkwood, with their chapter closing back in 2008. As for Steve, he also brings a past chapter to their love story, with one child shared with ex-wife Nichola Randall in his previous 12-year marriage.
Carol confessed that he was "the best thing that's ever happened to me, without a shadow of a doubt".
