) has announced the draw date and procedure for the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals.In a statement released on Friday, the league confirmed that the quarter-final draw will be conducted on Sunday afternoon.This will take place immediately after the SuperSport United vs Polokwane City match at TUT Stadium.
“As per tournament rules, the quarter-final draw is seeded: clubs that achieved the highest four positions in the DStv Premiership 2022/23 season will be seeded while the rest will be unseeded.”The first bowl will contain the seeded four clubs.The third bowl will be empty – to be used to determine home and away.1.We draw a ball from the seeded bowl and place it in the empty bowl without opening it.
