A lovely tribute
A Nottingham care home has opened its new tea room dedicated to a ‘beautiful’ carer who died earlier this year. Residents and staff at Coppice Lodge in Arnold opened the tearoom together.
Lisa’s family, staff and residents at the care home were devastated when she passed away. 85-year-old resident, Patricia Wykes, said: “Lisa has been a friend to me for a long time, we have spent many hours chatting. I am absolutely heartbroken for her children and grandchildren; she really will be missed.”
“Mum was so excited for this tearoom and now it’s named after her. It’s a beautiful room for everyone to sit and remember mum.
