Police in Las Vegas have dropped a criminal battery investigation after rapper Cardi B was reported for throwing a microphone at an audience member.
The incident took place after a woman in the crowd appeared to splash a drink on the star as she was performing her hit Bodak Yellow on stage at Drai's Beachclub.throwing a mic - also shared by the rapper herself - went viral on social media at the end of July.
Metropolitan Police Department said a woman reported a battery case to the force the day after the concert."After a thorough review of this case and with the consultation from the Clark County district attorney's office, this case has been closed as having insufficient evidence," the statement read.More on Cardi B
