The “I Like It” rapper, 30, is set to have a huge night at the MTV music awards show as she will perform her new single, “Bongos,” live for the first time with Megan Thee Stallion.
Plus, Cardi is nominated for Best Hip Hop Video on the 50th anniversary of the genre, which will be celebrated during the show. “Hip hop was made to talk about our struggle, to talk about our pain. Hip hop was created in the Bronx, by the way. My life, my culture,” she declared.
