Bromley are beaten by fellow League Two side AFC Wimbledon in their first ever Carabao Cup tie.
Bromley’s first Carabao Cup tie ended in a 2-1 south London derby defeat to AFC Wimbledon as Joe Pigott grabbed the winner at Hayes Lane.
After Wimbledon started the brighter, Bromley struck first against the run of play after 19 minutes when Bes Topalloj’s exquisite left-wing cross to the back post was swept in by Levi Amantchi. The Dons completed their comeback shortly after the hour mark as Isaac Ogundere’s cross was nodded across goal by James Tilley for Pigott to apply the finishing touch – his first goal since returning to the club on loan from Leyton Orient.
