A primary school principal has said he is thankful no one was injured after a car ploughed through the school railings and onto the pitch.
Speaking to Belfast Live, principal of Holy Cross Boy's Primary School, Kevin McArevey said that he had been made aware of the incident after the school had closed for the day."I received a call telling me that a car had crashed through the wall and the railings at the bottom of our pitch," he said. "Thankfully no other cars were damaged and there were no injuries in terms of pedestrians or other road users because this would be a very busy area.
