A car flipped onto its roof following a two-vehicle crash on the A46. The emergency services were called to the incident on the northbound carriageway, near Newton, at around 5.50am on Wednesday morning .
The driver of the upturned car was released by firefighters. No injuries were reported and details about the damage to the other vehicle are unknown. Sergeant Aaron Ji Chen said: “Emergency services were called to reports of a crash involving two cars on the A46 northbound, near Newton, at around 5.50am this morning .“One vehicle ended up on its roof and the driver had to be released by firefighters. There were no reports of any injuries.” Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident 76 of October 5.
