Motorists in Aberdeenshire were significantly disrupted when the terrifying incident happened on the A96, heading towards Kintore roundabout, at around 10am on Sunday.
The road was blocked for a lengthy period with fire crews on the scene to quickly extinguish the blaze.
Images sent to Aberdeen Live showed the red vehicle crashed into a barrier at a roundabout on the road and completely engulfed in flames. Smoke could be seen billowing up into the sky as police helped to direct traffic. It's not believed anyone was injured as a result of the fire.
