Capitec's reward programme on track to save clients R1 billion by the end of the year
The bank expects these savings to reach R1 billion by the end of the year, as rising inflation puts the pinch on consumers' pockets.
The Live Better programme rewards clients who reach their monthly banking goals, which include using at least one credit product with no arrears, fulfilling three debit orders successfully, and completing five transactions through the bank's app. The reward programme has helped Capitec clients save R639 million to date. The bank added that, by the end of the year, these savings, amid soaring inflation, would top R1 billion.
