Capitec expands active client base by 15% and boosts digital platforms 🔒
Capitec, SA’s biggest retail bank by client numbers, has expanded its active client base to 16.8-million thanks to an increased investment in digital platforms, which has also helped it weather the storm caused by Covid-19.
The Stellenbosch-based lender said active client numbers increased 15% from the 14.68-million reported in its last interim results in August 2020. It also added almost 1-million clients from the 15.83-million reported at the end of February when the bank published its full-year results...
