Washington Capitals forward T.J. Oshie is unavailable due to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, the team announced Sunday.
Oshie joins teammates Garnet Hathaway , Evgeny Kuznetsov and Nicklas Backstrom in protocol as the virus continues to spread across the league. The Capitals are scheduled to play the Los Angeles Kings on Sunday at 7 p.m. -- one of four games of eight not yet postponed on the day.
The 34-year-old Oshie has already missed time with a lower-body injury this season, and he has 11 points in 14 games for the 18-5-7 Capitals., and avoid posting profanity, personal attacks or harassment.
