The newly opened 300-bed Ebenezer Safe Space is set to accommodate up to 127 people, while 26 others will move to the Culemborg Safe Space 2 site.are part of a broader initiative to provide a total of 1 070 beds, with further expansions planned for areas including Green PointSupported by additional shelters operated by organisations like MES and The Haven, the Safe Spaces program now offers significant capacity in the Northern Suburbs for the homeless.
Residents in these facilities benefit from comprehensive support services, including meals, ablution facilities, medical care, and assistance with obtaining ID documents and social grants.
