Cape Town City FC has announced the departure of head coach Eric Tinkler by mutual consent. Tinkler's tenure saw the club achieve commendable positions in the league but they have struggled this season.
Cape Town City FC announced on New Year’s Eve that manager Eric Tinkler has left the club by mutual consent. Tinkler guided the club to second, fourth, and fifth-place finishes in the league over the last three seasons, but this season the Mother City-based side find themselves down in 12th place in the 16-team Betway Premiership log after 10 matches.They have struggled in front of goal, scoring six goals in those 10 fixtures.
