CAPE TOWN - Santaco's first deputy chairperson Nceba Enge says he's surprised at the reasons quoted for impounding their taxis. This comes after the City of Cape Town impounded 14 more taxis, despite a deal last week in which the city would not impound Santaco Taxis for 14 days.
"One of the vans was overloaded and that as well is not an impoundable offence. It is what we already agreed to that such offenses will not warrant any impoundment. So it really surprised us."
