Cape Town - The City of Cape Town announced on Wednesday night that it was in the process of suspending law enforcement officers who were involved in the forced removal of a naked man from his shack in Khayelitsha.

"The City has been made aware of video footage concerning law enforcement officials in Khayelitsha and a resident today while they were on duty in the area. We are in the process of suspending four staff members involved in the incident pending the outcome of the investigation. In the statement, the City added that the land in question belongs to them and they've conducted various operations to prevent illegal land occupation.
