"They spent a lot of time at the IWK and the QEII throughout their lifespan. So this was just our way of trying to give back a bit." "It was like, okay, something is going on here. So, I called Ann and said, Did we win something here?" Thankful for the win, it probably isn't going to stop the couple from buying more QEII lottery tickets in the future.Cash prizeThe QEII Home Lottery raises money for the QEII Health Sciences Centre Foundation in Halifax and is staged in the spring and fall. Money raised is used to support and develop a host of services offered at the medical facility.
