RYAN TAPLIN/THE CHRONICLE HERALDHALIFAX — Cam Squires scored the lone goal in the Cape Breton Eagles’ 4-1 loss to the Halifax Mooseheads in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action Saturday night at Scotiabank Centre.

The Mooseheads dominated the game from the get-go. Josh Lawrence opened the scoring just over two minutes into the game. Markus Vidicek added two goals in the second period, and Zachary L’Heureux had one goal in the third period. Netmineder Nicolas Ruccia stopped 19 of 23 shots for the Eagles , while Mooseheads counterpart Mathis Rousseau made 23 saves.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
