Haley McDonald had a team-high 21 points, while Bianca Helmig recorded 10 points and Elizabeth Iseyemi and Samantha Russell, off the bench, both notched nine points for the Axewomen . Ryan Munro, grandson of late New Waterford Coal Bowl founder Donnie Blackwood, had a team-high 18 points, while Gabe Davignon, off the bench, had 15 points, and Seth Blundell recorded 12 points for the Axemen . Both Cape Breton and Acadia will return to the court on Saturday in Sydney.
