And finding a way to do the right things, even when you’re not at your best, is the attitude he believes he needs to instil in his new charges. The Canucks’ captain is without a contract for next season. And so it’s more likely than ever that Horvat will find himself traded sometime in the next month. The NHL trade deadline is March 3.

But Tocchet said he didn’t want to put a time frame on when he expects to have his No. 1 goalie back.
