CANTON, Ohio - The Canton Police Department launched an investigation after a man was shot in the head.
Canton Police Chief John Gabbard says police received a call regarding someone having a gun around midnight on Nov. 6 in the 3600 block of Ellis Avenue NE. Police arrived to the home and found the unresponsive 26-year-old with an apparent gunshot wound to the head, Gabbard said. The Canton Fire Department transported the victim to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in critical condition, CPD said.
