Cannabis plants worth £7m seized by police
More than 9,200 cannabis plants were confiscated by police in Leicestershire last month.Leicestershire Police said the drugs had a street value of £7m, with 40 people arrested and 29 subsequently charged with drugs offences.
The force said it was working as part of a national operation targeting the growing and selling of cannabis across the UK.
