John Ivison: Liberals' anti-misinformation policy proposals amount to alarming government intervention
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and other Liberals have been targeting Poilievre on CBC funding, with the prime minister highlighting that promise in his Liberal convention speech this past weekend. “I think it shows two things: one, these things don’t break through as widely as we think; and two, maybe there’s a little bit of skepticism in politicians generally that they will do what they say they will.”
“I think that’s a challenge for every political leader on the housing file,” he said. “You’ve had political leaders at all levels of government and all political stripes talking about it and I think most people don’t perceive any progress to have been made.”Article content Coletto said while the Liberals have slipped in popularity, it doesn’t mean people dislike all their policies.
