According to local media, a 70-year-old Canadian man was found dead in an apartment in the city of Progreso, in Yucatan state, on Friday morning.
According to media in Nova Scotia and Mexico, the man has been identified as Bruce Allen of Dartmouth, N.S. According to a family member, Allen was vacationing in Mexico with his partner and was set to return to Dartmouth this Thursday. The identity of the victim has not been confirmed by Global Affairs Canada.
