Cops allege the victim — whose name and hometown have not been revealed — was targeted by five teenagers who attempted to rob him. Two pals were with the Canadian man and they along with a cab driver gave statements to investigators. The incident happened Wednesday morning after the group was confronted outside a nearby McDonald’s.
The Mirror reports the tourists travelled to Barcelona for Sunday’s soccer match between Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Catalan capital..Police said in a statement: “Officers from the Investigative Unit of the Sant Marti police station are investigating an incident that took place yesterday morning/on Wednesday morning in the district of Santi Marti.
